I am a seasoned local government professional with experience in municipal administration, economic development, land use regulations, budgeting, project management, and labor relations.   Cultivating and sustaining an environment of trust, transparency, and mutual respect across all stakeholders is a hallmark of my management and communication style. 

I have effectively led my organizations through dire financial straits and periods of tremendous community change.  The interests of the municipality's financial needs, its current residents, its future residents, and the development community all have to be balanced. I thrive in operating in this balance. 

As an executive, I have had the unique opportunity to be the steward of organizations that will endure, which provide services and help shape communities that will likewise endure perpetually. This stewardship opportunity is for a finite time, and the decisions we make and facilitate should aim to look well over the horizon of that short term. Will what is expedient now serve the next generation? How will our actions provide more opportunity – or less – to the future?
